DVD disks are making a comeback in the petabyte range

Chinese engineers have come up with a way to utilize a new type of DVD disks, that can hold far more data in each individual disk and these disks can be layered to hold even more. It may be creating a revolution in network storage in the petabit/exabit region very economically. Data centers could be setup in small rooms instead of huge stadia type areas.
