Watched the cosmic monsters last night and it was a hoot. Magnetic fild goes wild creating huge insects and insane people, possibly destroying the Earth. An alien shows up, Mr Smith and destroys the magnetic project and saves the world. Lousy acting, plot, and effects but still a fun watch.

I have a bunch of movies saved to watch, but it's nice out, so I'm doing outside work.

I can't believe we've got so far in this thread without a mention of "Darkstar" or "Silent Running".

Love Silent Running but many dont regard it as a pure scifi film and see it as more of an environmental/societal/psychological drama. Darkstar wasnt a favorite of mine but its still a decent film.

Bruce Dern is awesome in Silent Running. I just recently watched him in a horror movie called Hell Blazers. With Tony Todd, and Adrienne Barbeau. A terrible waste of talent on a 💩💩💩💩 movie..😒😒😞😞 It's on Tubi TV. Ugh... :x

The little robots were amazing in Silent Running as you are completely affected with what happens to them

They were all played by amputees, and dwarfs. I had a " Famous Monsters" magazine that showed them getting into costumes. It was amazing...!

I heard that and it fascinated me and probably lent a far more human quality to their actions.

I spent about an hour watching The Power, on Amazon Prime, last night. Not for me. However, Citadel is a banger..! Fear of The Walking Dead started the 8th and final season on Sunday. I think it's run its course. Pretty much the same old type of plot. And there was a time jump 8 years ahead, which is really annoying. :x
