Yup. Contrary to initial expectations I find myself enjoying it although the the fake English accents are just sooo bad :)

Slow mover? No I don't think so. There's a story to tell, sub plots to develop and characters to build. I'd sooner that than the usual trash that comes on these days. Did you try The Wheel of Time?? uuurrgghhh....

You need to watch the movie " Mayhem ". That gets to the point, real fast.

Yeah, I admit when it comes to shows, they have ~15 minutes in the first episode for something to happen that makes me interested. It can be action, it can be an incredibly hot woman scantily clad being introduced as a major character (yes, I'll watch a show/movie just because of a hottie, and have many a time), or it can be a moment of humor. But SOMETHING has to happen in that first 15 minutes to suck me in, or I give up really fast on modern shows.

I think you might like Creepshow the series. I'm waiting for season 4 to hit.

I didn't know they had a show for that. I LOVED the old Creepshow movies.

Season 1 is excellent. It's on AMC+ only.

That would explain why I didn't know about it.

Finished watching what is available so far, of the Peripheral. It's ok, but I kinda get bored with it. To each his own...

You can not call me a cord cutter, because I never had a cord to cut. I think just never watching TV left me immune to the appeal of streaming services as well. I use to go to the movies a lot, like once a week, but they closed down the theater so it has been a few years since I have been to a theater. I transferred all our old VHS and DVD movies to digital and watch them sometimes, but in honesty a movie on the small screen is not very satisfying. So for entertainment I find myself going back to listening to music and reading.
