Finally found a Jasper Lake!

So, been looking to get a cheap Jasper Lake system w/ 16GB ram for a while. My problem was that I was only finding ones with 12GB ram <$400, and all the 16GB ram ones were >$400, which was more than I was willing to pay. Finally found one that has a N5095 (basically a failed N5100, whereas the N5100 is 6-watt CPU 2GHz/2.8GHz boost this is a 15-watt CPU 2GHz/2.9GHz boost), 16GB ram, 512GB SSD (probably m.2 sata), and 1080P 14" for under $400. Best of all, it's PINK!!!!

Not use to you talking about low power, low end systems.

Well, low power is all my laptops. I only own U-series (15-watt), this is actually high power compared to most of the Jasper Lake family is 6-watt, and even the erstwhile "desktop" processors are normally only 10-watt. But this is a full 15-watt chip.

You do talk about high end hardware quite a bit though.

Yeah, several of my laptops are high end, but they're high end in the highly efficient space. I like efficiency. My desktop I upgraded from the RX580 to the RX5600XT not because I needed performance, but because the 5600XT is more efficient (180-watt to 150-watt). I buy U-series (15-watt TDP) processors in my laptops, I don't play with H series (35/45-watt TDP). I like the 65-watt CPU's in my desktop. I'm considering upgrading to Ryzen 7000 series, but will run eco mode to drop the CPU down to a 65-watt TDP. I do like my performance, but never at the cost of inefficiency.

The RX5600 series is still a good performer. I went with it because of both less power and less heat, along with my Ryzen 5600x because the Alienware system is a tight case with fans.
The Lenovo M600 tiny I was impressed with as it uses only 14w of power in use, but its performance is horrid.

That's the reason I went with the 3700X. I specifically didn't want the 3800x because it's 105-watt. I wanted the 3700x because it's the same 8-core 16-thread, but it's 65-watt. Now that there's no 65-watt CPU's for 7000 series, I'll have to go to either a 105-watt or 170-watt, but either way, I'll run eco mode. Of course, that's even if I upgrade. No guarantees, since I don't do anything that would absolutely NEED me to upgrade to a newer processor. And I could save money and get a 5900x and run it @65-watt (a la the 3900 OEM only CPU).

I dont need to upgrade for my gaming. Im really happy with my system and will be using it for awhile before I entertain any thoughts like that.
