Got my new wireless chipset in today to upgrade from the MT7921. The MT7922 is a full 6E card. Supports all the 6E features, and has full Bluetooth 5.2 support. The biggest reason to go to the 7922 over the 7921 is because the 7921 while it TECHNICALLY supports some Wifi 6/6E, it doesn't support the 160MHz channels, so it's NOT able to support the #1 thing that allows 6/6E to be so much faster than AC (which are 80MHz channels)

Been testing with it, and if you need an upgrade to a 6/6E card, this is definitely not bad. It does require a 5.19 or newer kernel to work flawlessly (it works in anything 5.15+), but if you meet those conditions it really is a great card. My range with this card is unbelievable. I do believe it outranges the Intel AX210!!!

So overall, is it better than the AX210? Probably not, they're more about the same, however, given that this is the "official" chipset that is badged as an AMD in some systems, if you have a Ryzen machine, it's kinda nice to be able to say you're all AMD including the wireless.

Fastest Ive got right now are my dual band 2.4/5ghz USB AC wifi adapters. Some of my mini pcs have similar bulit in but the speed is excellent. Range at least all over my condo is excellent as well as I dont use my systems outdoors given our location.

My Netgear AC6210 USB wifi adapters with the Mediatek chipset work in Linux with no issues and without having to add drivers.. Its nice to have a wifi option I can use with both Windows and Linux.

Yeah, MediaTek is getting more popular. There's several OEM's that are starting to use them for their AMD machines, and obviously because MediaTek open sources their drivers, they're quite popular with linux users for their USB dongles.
