Dell Latitude 5470

I was able to get another one dirt cheap on Ebay and it was delivered today. Added 16gb of ram, and put in a TeamGroup MP33 512gb nvme ssd which got good numbers for a $37 dollar ssd, 2100/1700. Only issue is they said that there was no hard drive caddy, I assumed that was the 2.5 caddy, but in fact it also didnt have the caddy for the m.2 2280 drive. Had to use some foam tape and electrical tape to hold it in till I can get the part off Ebay. All Dell needed to do was put a screw hole with gasket in that area rather than using such a complicated plastic piece for the purpose. Unit is in great condition and it will see a lot of use.

He sent me the 5470 with no backlit keyboard. I could swap it out but really dont want to spend more cash on this laptop at this point. Lately Ebay vendors seem to be in a funk. Id send it back but he has no replacement so Ill just live with it for now.
