It actually will affect more than JUST KDE, but that's the only part I care about personally.

TL;DR: Debian group has too much drama and keeps demoting him, so Norbert is abandoning being a Debian developer, which includes his personal offerings for updated KDE packages on stable Debian.

I first saw this over at Q4OS as someone had posted it. I use all my Debian based distros default so was never dependent on his offerings.
