I followed the links to the NASA software F' which is the framework that runs the helicopter. F' does run on Linux, MacOS, Windows subsystem for Linux and I gather whatever other systems you might compile it on. Interesting you can get a full image ready to run for the Raspberry Pi. Not to say that the helicopter does not use Linux as an OS, but the actual flight software F' does run on a variety of systems

They had coverage of the rover and its flying friend on 60 Minutes last night and the pics and videos were amazing. Im fascinated by the landscape shots of Mars.

I thinkit's neat, but not overly fascinating. Personally, it reminds me of a red, cactii-less version of southern AZ.

The closer in shots though are amazing as you see features you can identify with from similar features on Earth. I try and picture what those areas might have looked like back when water was running through those areas.
