Have we got a Windows 10 convert in the forum?

Re: What hardware are you using?
its been a better experience than I had originally anticipated. Today though I did an install for a friend which I just finished and that didnt go so well, activation and driver issues. Overall I admit I like it and will be using it but still use Linux. The fact that I can use my Win7 installs to upgrade for free is the only reason I even went down this path, otherwise no way.

Re: What hardware are you using?
I only use it as it came with the laptops I bought and another could be upgraded from Win7 (which is now sold ) otherwise I would be Linux only as I would never pay Microsoft for anything.

I would gladly pay Microsoft if they started making their old trackball from the mid-90's. The thing was the BEST trackball ever made. Loved it.

I loved the Logitech trackball back in the day but really never liked them overall.

Back when I had the MS trackball, I LOVED trackballs. All the rest were too small and uncomfortable IMO. So after they discontinued it and mine eventually died, I moved to mice. But if there was still a good trackball made, I'd still use them.

I have to admit I loved my old trackball which IIRC was logitech and would probably still use one today if they weren't so over-priced! But only for the desktop as I think you need to have a "hand sized" one to make it comfortable to use, I can't imagine using a tiny one on a laptop would be much fun.

Just installed KDE Neon on my Dell V130 and gees it runs very well given this is an older laptop with 4gb of ram. I put a 128gb SSD in it and that certainly helped.

Im really pleased that older hardware is still working pretty well with recent distros.
