I'm looking forward to this as well. Given that LX3 was genuinely very good software with just a couple issues that happen to be of a showstopper level for my usage, I will have to try out LX4.

I would love to see the Mandriva name get back to where it was formerly. Talk about a popular distro and the influence on many other forks.

Yeah, and before that Mandrake...that was one of the first distro's I ever successfully ran.

That was, in it's day, by far the nicest looking distro IMO. It was the one that although I didn't get online with it at first, it was a big decider in my liking Linux because it's KDE desktop was just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice looking and working compared to anything else out at the time (including Win 95/98).

First time I saw Mandriva I was in love right away and used it for quite some time. PCLinuxOS eventually became a favorite but to this day I identify with Mandriva the most.
