I came across this application recently. It it serves the same function as the Raspberry Pi Imager or Etcher. It strips out the Pi specific stuff from Imager, leaving a very simple interface with no advertising. It does have the ability to download many iso installer images and install them to USB without requiring further user involvement.

As near as I can tell it is only available via flatpak. I have only tried it a couple times and in both cases it did what it says it will without any extra fanfare.

A lot of apps these days are offered only thru Flatpak.
