Linux market share exceeds 4%

Arstechnica is reporting that Linux market share was 4.03 percent last month and if you include Chrome OS it was 6.34 percent. I've seen Chrome OS market share numbers much higher than what they reported but with MacOS use declining as well, Linux on the whole is doing very well. I've seen Chrome OS market share as high as 8 percent with sales of related hardware doing very well, particularly with Enterprise/educational users.
Use of Linux in the United States is at an all time high of 12 Percent with Chrome OS in the USA at 19.7 percent, these stats coming from Statcounter.
