Fedora Silverblue's update to 37 showed up today. Software center offered to download the update and I went ahead and did that. After I finished the projects I was working on, I headed back to the software center, where the update had downloaded. Software Center asked if I wanted to restart and deploy the update, which I also did.

Since most all user faceing software in SilverBlue comes from flatpaks, everything I was using had updated to Gnome 43 a month ago. The distro update was about 1.2GB and really only impacts the base core of the system.

After a restart I was on Fedora 37. There were a few visual updates but no great changes. Kind of the way I like to have an update happen. The kernel bumped up to 6.08 was the only change I noted.

Kinoite on the MBP remains on 36 and the update has not shown up yet. But like SilverBlue the user space has updated so the latest KDE UI and applications are already installed. I will just wait until the update shows up in Discovery.

Just as an aside to this, I was able to sort out my wifi connection problems. I my case it was necessary in the configuration setting to to tick the check box "IPv4 is required for this connection."
