Anything different? The updates have been coming pretty quickly.

I don't see a SINGLE difference...Maybe might eventually spot something, but I'm thinking that this was 90% either "under the hood" or Wayland compatibility fixes.crosscourt wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 7:27 pm Anything different? The updates have been coming pretty quickly.

I am curious to see what KDE version ends up with Debian 11's release.

5.20.5, that's where it's at right now, and Debian is in hard freeze, which means it won't be going anywhere.

I can live with it for awhile but down the road I want newer versions.

Re: Plasma by KDE 5.22 released
My concern is it needs to be user friendly and not end up with bug issues.

Re: Plasma by KDE 5.22 released
Well, I think the point of the article is that if stuff is easier to backports, you might see it available via backports more often. So newer QT & Plasma in backports would be a possibility.
I won't personally hold my breath for it to happen, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility. If anything, npreining doing it for a while has shown there's a HUGE demand for a non-archaic plasma version in stable.
