In my case Id love to find a Raspberry Pi 400 but will be looking at upgrading my Radeon RX 570 video card if the prices are right.

Well if this can be used for pie in the sky wishing, I think I would like to get one of those new M1 Macs. As far as things I could put to good immediate use, I could use a larger external backup drive.

Prices arent good so the video card upgrade is probably going to have to wait. Maybe some better deals into next year.

I find myself content enough with the Pinebook Pro that I went ahead and purchased the NVMe adaptor for it ($6) so I can add a proper hard drive. I also purchased the USB c dock they make for it ($40) and that was probably just a treat for me.

Of course they ship from China and do not ship until the 18th of December so I guess that would make them Chinese New Year hardware or perhaps something to keep me busy at home until the covid vaccine is available.

I gave up on buying from China after a few bad experiences. Even if its Chinese based I prefer they ship from a USA based location. I try to buy from USA based vendors whenever possible.

I'd like a nice Mesh system so I can actually get wifi around the house - replace the awful Powerline units that just fail all the time.

Powerline was a huge disappointment as it not only didnt work well but failed too often.

My wife got a Logitech webcam for her special event work and a 2tb Seagate external drive as she maxed out her hard drive while working on video .
