Not good, those batteries generally aren't cheap!!

To be fair, that describes the last 25 years of MS software...

It appears they finally fixed the Outlook/Microsoft account issues where they keep asking you to use your pin to verify. Its been three days without issue.

Most recent cumulaive update appears to have caused some serious issues, but so far my pc seems to be fine.

More updates and for awhile, they slow down the system, forcing me to do constant defrag and optimization to get the speed back.

They claim they are slowing down the release of updates yet recently there has been a lot of updates plus an optional upgrade. Would prefer that they solve the issues created by the recent updates first before they move on so quickly.

A while back I picked up a rather junky Thinkpad x240 to replace my X220. I finally got it fixed up and working the other day. It turned out pretty nice. With Thinkpads I generally install the system it came with to check into Lenovo service and get the history of the device and see what its specs were when new. And to get any bios/firmware updates that might exist for the machine.

I installed the latest Windows 10 (20H2?). What an odd system Windows 10 is. It seems very capable, yet at the same time very annoying. I installed Windows on a m.2 sata drive (60GB), which I will remove and tuck away somewhere. I picked up a new regular SATA drive, which I will install some new Linux on this evening or tomorrow.
