These choices are based on my needs, preferences and hardware, your mileage may vary.

1.Netrunner 19.01 KDE
2.Linux Mint Mate 19.1
3.MX Linux 18.2
4.ROSA R11 KDE
5.KDE Neon 2019/04

As always, I'll give my (boring) picks just for a different point of view...

1. Debian
2. KDE Neon
3. ROSA
4. Arch (constantly breaking Atheros firmware has irritated me)
5. Q4OS Centaurus (testing)

Q4OS...interesting. Of course some of you are probably saying why is CC picking a Debian testing distro as number one. Its been solid as a rock and with its blend of Mint updater and other features has been one of the more enjoyable distros Ive used.

Being that Q4OS crashed on me,and I lost a lot of info,I've never gone back, even tho it's still on my old machine(Orion 1.8.8) I've tried Mint, but didn't seem to perform as well as MX-18. At some point, I'll try Net runner, and KDE Neon.

TDE just doesnt suit my needs and even though I can run KDE with Q4OS why bother when other better KDE distros are available.

I don't even miss TDE or KDE....XFCE suits me just fine. To put up with something that gives me problems, is simply not worth it.

XFCE I think for most users is a great choice and offers enough advanced features without going overboard.

At least from my perspective, Ive been really happy with Netrunner in long term use and it appears even in reviews, others feel the same.
