Re: MX Linux 18 released
Installed it on my Dell E6400 ATG and its even better than MX17.1. Uses kernel 4.19 and its one of the fastest distros to install. I added Chrome, Bleachbit and one click om the MX codecs installer and I was done. The MX package installer allows you to install a wide variety of apps,DEs and other items. I used it to install Chrome, very easy I have to do some tweaking but resource usage is in the same range as before, around 300mbs.
The new MX Linux wallpapers are very nice and the default on is simple but elegant but older favorites are still available through the MX package installer.
Simply one of the best distros Ive ever used and will remain in my top three distros of 2018
The only negative for me was my backlit keyboard doesnt work with MX18.

Can MX-17 be upgraded to MX-18..? Or do you have to do a re-install...?

Re: MX Linux 18 released
Look at this Capt as yes it can be done but there are some limitations.

The MXLinux community has the best documentation ive run into in quite some time.
I wish it would work with my dock but it doesnt but will be installing it on other devices.

Re: MX Linux 18 released
Just installed on my Dell 7010 SFF and its amazing. The combination of MX Tool, MX Tweaks and MX package installer, really makes the difference with MX18. Resource usage averages 300-340mbs depending on the system.

Converted most of my laptops to MX18 and away from Linux Lite.
