Elementary OS is a good distribution for new linux users, and for those who are coming from Windows or Mac

I like it but it doesnt offer the same extras you see with distros like MX17 or OpenSUSE 15

So far resource usage is too high with some apps which caught me by surprise as Ive used this distro before. Some graphical glitches and the usual issues with anything Gnome based. Many users will find this distro easy to try but it leaves you wanting for more features and options.

I know many people like this distro but its resource usage, Gnome issues and overall design just dont suit my needs.

Even though it doesnt suit my needs Elementary OS is either 2 or 3 on the Distrowatch polls and along with MXLinux 17 at 3-4 has become hugely popular.
