As far as Neptune and Rosa, I'm the exact opposite. I have a far better eperience in Neptune. :D

I'll continue using Kubuntu for now just because I don't feel like reinstalling right now. But once Neon 18.04 releases, I'll be done with Kubuntu as well.

Dont get me wrong Neptune is nice but its had far more issues than Rosa on my systems, just as Neon has. I run everything stock so I call them like I see them.

I run everything as it should be installed. :)

Which means getting rid of what I consider moronic default choices (calligra office, anything dealing with KDE PIM) and the like. I like to test a distro at it's best possible self (what I would consider it's best). Sadly, many (most) fail miserably.

5.13.1 for me so far is...a hot mess. Menu utterly screwed up, so that I can't reliably even launch programs everything is so small. Updated both my Arch installs and they're both unusable now.

Thats surprising as we've run Neon 5.13.1 across a number of systems some quite recent and havent had any issues. Ive been very impressed so far but I dont Neon for me as a long term distro even though others probably would enjoy it. Ill see once 18.04 comes out.

It was an issue with permissions that 5.13.1 didn't like that prior versions of KDE didn't mind. Not sure if it's an Arch only thing or a plasma 5.13.1 thing though.

I've just tried Neon in a VirtualBox VM. Is it just me or is it very slow to boot?

KDE Neon updated to KDE 5.13.2 and runs great. Excellent performance with this recent change.
