I think the live session booted faster than installed for me (after enabling auto-login).

PCLOS is a fast install at least for me but depending on when you do it, there can be a lot of updates to install.
Live session this time was very quick given the newer version of KDE. Its always been fine but you notice the speed difference both in live session and with install using 5.13.1

Well, the installed OS ran fine once it booted. But it was truly lethargic at booting. Comparitively, with the currently installed Fedora, I could literally start fedora, get to desktop, shut down, turn on, and STILL get back to the desktop before PCLOS had gottent to the desktop from the first boot. It really was THAT slow to boot.

Thats interesting as Ive had PCLOS installed on older laptops and on my Dell SFF and it boots to desktop in under 25-30 seconds. Wish I could say why youre having issues and im using older hard SATA hard drives as well.

When you mentioned problems I pulled out my SFF, started it up and was in PCLOS ready to go.

Fresh install of the new iso and its very nice, with some decent wallpapers included for a change. Dark breeze theme which I like and the speed is excellent. Sticking with the present kernel but they have more recent kernels available. Memory usage has dropped which has been the case with all distros ive tried using the more recent KDE 5.13.1.
