Nope, wouldn't use it for that reason. relatime + SSD = more file writes = more life used up faster. Although still not as fast as atime. But still, no thank you.replaces noatime flags with relatime

They specifically say in their release notes that relatime is used to limit disk writes. Im pretty sure in the Debian wiki dealing with SSD o0ptimizations that they do say that noatime or relatime accomplish pretty much the same thing, limiting disk writes. According to the Debian wiki, relatime has been the default for quite some time.

They do both limit writes, noatime limits it much further than relatime. Yes, Debian defaults to relatime, but if an OS had changed the defaults to noatime (which is what I want), and then changes BACK to relatime (which is what I don't), then no thank you. I'm ok with Debian because they changed from atime to relatime...a LONG time ago (before SSD's were popular).
