Q4OS Ubuntu Quark 20.04 testing

Post by crosscourt »

Ive already installed it and its essentially Kubuntu 20.04 with added Q4OS features and tools. More will be added down the road but so far it installs and runs extremely well, using KDE 5.18.3 and 5.4 kernel but eventually will also support TDE within the same install.

Look here, https://sourceforge.net/projects/q4os/files/testing/

It may become an independent distro as official Q4OS distro will remain based on Debian.

Ive been running it for two days and had no issues ar all so far.

This is interesting as Q4OS will make Trinity available with this OS down the road. I would actual consider using Trinity again if were available with an Ubuntu based distro, even though I really enjoy KDE.

Obviously I would consider it as well. Since Trinity is my #2 DE, and #1 on extreme low power devices (Chromebooks) that while they can run KDE, definitely are significantly faster with Trinity.
