I'm using it,and Q4OS on my other 2 machines....the one is my Optiplex 7010,and the other is a 32 bit Asus machine. I just haven't gotten around to changing those 2 over to MX-17 ...eventually... I will...

Just installed it on my Dell E6400 and after 20 minutes Ive got a working system. Few things to change or add and great performance. Makes older hardware just fly but offers great flexibility and bullt in tools. On my laptops the ram usage at GUI after boot is 288mbs on both laptops- E6400/E5410.

I'm still finding to this day, that MX-17 still fulfills all my needs. I've tried many on my Dell Optiplex 7010, yet this distro has no issues whatsoever...! It's lightning fast, even on older hardware. MX repos keep everything up to date...5 out of 5 stars for me..! :D

Its a great distro and I recommend it to many people with great results. I run it on my Dell E5410 laptops and in regards to wifi it installs anything without problems. No issues with various types of wifi cards.

I'm going to be installing it on another Dell Optiplex 7010 that my friend bought as a back up for her Windows 7 laptop. I got it on EBay from the same company that I got my Dell from. It was cheaper, since it doesn't have the SD drive package in it. No big deal, everyone I know, just use thumb drives or Cd's.... I'll let you know how the install goes.

So...I installed MX-17 on my friends Dell Optiplex 7010. It was a reclaimed machine, probably from a company that upgraded, or went out of business. There was no OS on it...it had been wiped clean. Just what I wanted..! I plugged it in,and powered it up. I had my MX-17 ISO disc I had made back in January of this year, and loaded it in. It took about 3 minutes to load, and find the peripherals.
Once it did that, I just clicked on the installer. I followed the prompts, and within 20 minutes,MX-17 was up and running...! I've only installed OS's on desktop computers. This is the easiest OS I've ever installed..! AND...I just love all the features Horizon has..!
The most important point I want to say is,this OS JUST WORKS...! :D
