Ive got a couple of laptops that hate a lot of distros, Q4OS, Lubuntu, wattOS, Linux Lite, Mint, its a long list and wont boot at all with a few.
MX Linux 17 installed on them with no issues at all and the cranky wifi worked right off the bat and the older Radeon mobile graphics worked as well.
Both are a problem on top of the fact that they can only use 1gb of ram and I used the 64bit version with no issues.

You could have cut and pasted it so we got it "from the horses mouth" so to speak
But I wont be using it for my daily needs anyway so a futile exercise really...

Re: Mx Linux 17 Horizon review/plus follow up review
I just installed MX Linux 17 on a HP Pavilion circa 2007 tonight. I was running Q4OS, but decided to give MX 17 a try. The install took about 15-20 min. It's a very user friendly distro, esp. since I'm used to working with Q4OS. The DE is well organized, and has nice wallpapers. The Conky is laid out fairly large, and this distro comes with alot of features. The devs paid special attention to the "tweak" options on everything from the Conky, to the package installer. I wasn't familiar with XFCE DE but I like it now, better than TDE. This distro comes with all the bells and whistles. It's design is meant for newbies, and it should be easy for any beginner to use. I didn't have alot of time to really get into all of the features, since it was getting late. I will explore this great distro and write more about it in the near future. On a scale of 1-10,I definitely give it 9.6..!!

Thanks for the review and 9.6 is the average score of all reviews of MX17 over at distrowatch.com, second highest review rated distro on their rankings.
