Anarchy Linux

Post by tlmiller »

It's BACK!!!!

So downloaded the new 1.0.5 iso today. It doesn't work in UEFI. So downloaded the very recent, but not as new 1.0.4 iso, and it works. I've replaced my Arch installation on the 7490 via arcolinux with Arch via Anarchy. No 3rd party repos, just boots as Arch Linux. Ahhh, it's beautiful. Opened a ticket for 1.0.5 not being seen as UEFI compatible on their github. Tested on 3 laptops just to verify it wasn't the USB or the laptop being dumb.

For anyone who's ever wanted to test Arch but was hesitant, this is IMO the single best way to test Arch. You get as close to a "true" Arch install as you can without going through the hassle of installing "the Arch way". And it's tiny, less a GB in size (it also doesn't have a gui during install, which is how they kept it that small). I missed this OS!!!

That's the site, but pretty useless. Anything of use can be found on their github page:
