Will be downloading this to try today. This version is supposed to have improved display handling so we'll see.

Took awhile to get it downloaded but typing on it now. Its a very slow livedvd to launch and once in it its pretty sluggish. Chromium took forever to launch versus Neon. Nice design and it includes a decent amount of K apps as well as other apps such as grub customizer. Thunderbird and Chromium are there by default including LibreOffice. Printer was installed with no issues and wifi works fine, Ill post back as I use it more and I might install it, havent decided.

Not quite sure why they released this with the same version of Plasma as their base uses. The whole point of neptune is to have newer Plasma than Debian...

K3b has an issue and refused to installed properly. Went with Brasero instead, otherwise the new install on my SSD went great. Very nice Neptune themed wallpapers and overall no major issues. Im surprised this distro doesnt get more love as its very nice and works fine with my hardware.

K3b still has an issue and wont install even though it works fine with other KDE distros. Ended up using Brasero instead but there are other issues. They have some problems with certain icon sets that when used, you end up with no icon at all so went back to their default. Neptune BlackX theme also has issues.

Yeah, after using it for a fairly decent amount of time, I can't blame you. I think I'm moving on from it on the Samsung. Maybe I'll be different for once and install something that ins't KDE!!!

There arent many distros right now that catch my attention. Mostly different versions of the same using different DEs.
