I ended up upgrading a 19.1 install which went perfectly. Be sure to update 19.1 first before upgrading.

Many small annoyances fixed and overall an excellent experience thats very worth your while to try.
No issues with the Nvidia Prime graphics and hardware working fine.

Continued using it last night and it becomes clear how much better 19.2 is than 19.1, particularly with the Cinnamon version. Mint may not be as pretty as some other distros but it continues to build on the same formula and has created a very solid user experience. Mate/XFCE versions were also excellent but it was the Cinnamon version in my opinion that made the most overall progress.

Windows 7 users should give it a look.

Will be reinstalling the Cinnamon version to see if it works better this time around on one of my SSDs.

I'm contemplating installing MX for a friend in place of Debian Xfce and think it is probably best to go with 19.x version, do you think it is stable enough to use as production?

MX19 Beta 2 is very stable when I tried it, no issues but thats with my hardware. You could also install MX18 then upgrade it later.

I don't really want to have to upgrade it as it will be a remotely administered machine, I am trying to reduce the amount of time I have to spend doing that by "future-proofing" it where I can. I will probably go with 19 and hope for the best :D
