LibreOffice is 6.06 with a recent update which is good given Mageia was still using 5.3.

Ive been using Rosa pretty much non-stop and enjoying it. Its interesting as ive had no update issues unlike other distros. The overall thoughtful design just makes for a great experience for the user. This distro should be rated higher given how good it is.

The latest kernel isn't in love with my Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. It literally hangs on bootup every other time. Never did this before (well, it would hang, but it was more like once every 15-20 boots), not it's quite literally every other bootup. Given my Yoga 3 Pro isn't a production critical machine and I know after it hangs if I hard power off it'll boot and work fine, I haven't bothered troubleshooting, nor do I plan to. Just interesting that such a mature chipset/cpu would suddenly start doing that.

Im running the 4.15 kernel thats default with Rosa so havent had the experience with a newer kernel yet. With older hardware typically older kernels are better but some of my distros have the 4.17/4.18 kernels and they seem to do fine.

Something happened with the recent updates as my Dell E6400 ATG laptop backlit keyboard isnt working suddenly. Works fine with other distros.

Rosa main website has been down for awhile now, even though their forums and wiki seem are still accessible.

I noticed that yesterday (I think). I was checking if there were any LibreOffice 6.1 (fresh) in their repos (when not on my Rosa machine). Gave up, booted Rosa and just upgraded to 6.1 directly from Libreoffice.org.

I hope they arent having some issues but Rosa has dropped heavily in the Distrowatch rankings.
