Given the 5.18 is LTS, that's kinda surprising. I'd definitely prefer to stick to a LTS, just so that you know it's getting security updates.

Still cant understand the stupid reviews on distrowatch that are giving 0-1 scores because of supposed issues where there are none. The recent updates have been fine and given this distro is based on Mint theres very little to go wrong. Ive got it installed on both older and newer systems with no issues. Maybe its a kernel issue but this is a very reliable and well done distro.

Installed it on my recently picked up Dell E6420 and had no issues at all. Fast, stable and no update problems.

They updated to KDE 5.18.4 but are still using a supported version of the 5.3 kernel.

Given that's what kernel is being used for Ubuntu 19.10 and the -hwe kernel is on 18.04, this is not at all surprising right now.

Really enjoying Feren OS as its pretty much taken over for Neon.

Eh, I definitely thought it was far uglier out of the box than Neon, I'd probably never be able to use it in preference.

Uglier than Neon??? Neon out of the box is plain jane and Feren is far more polished overall( looks far better than KDE Mint did). Sure you were trying Feren?

Oh, it's got more changed, but it's for the worse IMO. Very ugly upon install. Yeah, definitely was Feren.
