Planet of the Vampires

Post by CaptNoize »

Comet is Finally showing one of my all time favorite B movies, Mario Bava's Planet of the Vampires. This movie gets credit from a lot of sci-fi/horror movies directors as the one that influenced their careers...somewhat gory for a 60's movie....

Definitely worth watching....Barry Sullivan is in it. It's an Italian movie,...it has a "weird" but interesting look. It won't be shown again until Friday the 26th, at 4pm.
Mario Bava is one of my favorite directors. Known as the Italian Alfred Hitchcock,he's done many movies. One you must see,is
"Blood and Black Lace". You'll never figure out who the killer is,until the end. This movie scared the hell out of me,as a kid...

Blood and Black Lace has Cameron Mitchell in it...."Buck" from the High Chapperal...you'll like it...trust me....BTW..."Night" was made just 20 minutes from me,as was the original " The Crazies". George Romero also made a movie called "Knight Riders" in 1981. Parts of it was filmed on the road that I live on,and I worked on "Creep show"...
