Re: Windows 10 21H2 issues

December cumulative uppdate had some issues. Most of my systems were fine but again my Dell 7270 with the NVMe drive was ridiculously slow with this update versus my other systems. The Ryzen system was moderately slow but it has a 2tb sata ssd. My Dell E6440 ended up with issues with the 256gb ssd and Win10 decided to scan and reapir but eventually the update did install. My Dell 3350 came out of the update with no ethernet or wifi and couldnt find anything wrong. Did a restart and thankfully it did resolve itself. Ive got four more systems to so so lets see what happens.

I have to say after installing the 21H2 update the Win11 nagging has really grown to a new level. On my Ryzen system that can actually run it they interrupt my updating and one time I couldnt close the message.

Thank god my only system isn't compatible, so I don't see anything except when I'm in the update screen.

I spend more time in Windows than Linux so its going to be a pain for awhile.

Recent update had no issues but as usual some are having a variety of problems such as VPNs not working.

20H2 is reaching end of support so MS is going to force users to 21H2 at some point.

Being enterprise licensed at work, I forget how fast the versions fall out of support if you don't have enterprise licensing.

Some 21H1 users have reported theyve been updated, which is odd given its still supported.

I mean, I'm not THAT surprised given the history of Microsoft and pushing unwanted patches without asking.
