phpBB hosting

Post by chris »

Hi all,
I'm thinking of starting a BB for my neighbours (in the UK) - max about a dozen users.
I've got a small setup working with phpBB, lightppd, mariadb and php7 (on a raspberry pi b).
Which host do you guys use? Do they include the above software? Or is there a better way to do it (e.g. switch lighttd to apache)?
Cheers
Chris

I'm using Hostinger for my hosting, they have a cheap option which covers most of my needs and is relatively easy to use. obviously you will not really need to worry too much about the underlying OS as it is a simple host for your website(s) but other than a couple of outages over the last few years it has been pretty good.
They have a fair selection of "autoinstaller" packages as can be seen from this screenshot
