Yes I believe thats correct but Im really happy for him as hes been miserable the last three year,s but now sees a ray of hope that he can win for a change at more than one level.

Yeah, I'd love for the Renault power plant to be on par with the Mercedes and Ferrari. To see 4 teams (Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren) fighting for wins and championship would be AWESOME. McLaren had, arguably, the aerodynamically best car last year. On the few races that are REALLY aero-focused and don't need power, they were running EASILY in the top 10, and in fact in practice a couple times Alonso managed to put it in the top 5. So if they had an engine that wasn't a total hunk of trash, I really think they'll be competitive.

The unfortunate part is the move to the Renault engine has forced some changes to the aero package, so lets see how it goes.
