I switched away this year as my wife uses Win10 for work and I use it only for gaming. I run Linux as my everyday OS and eventually I hope to run only Linux. I first tried Win10 a few years back and hated it but the recent try was much better.

I actually moved away from 7 back in 2015. I only have 1 machine that has Windows on it, and I migrated to Win10 as soon as it was released. Hated it...but realized it was going to be necessary eventually, so figured do it now instead of waiting.

My old gaming rig still has Windows 7 on it for those games that wont cooperate with Win10.

Microsoft released the most recent Edge browser for Windows 7/8 even though they dont support Win7 any more.

Yeah, the FUNNIEST part of that is that they made it available THE DAY AFTER the official retirement of Win7/Server 2008R2....

Some Win7 users are happy as they have a supported browser in case other ones stop support.
