Comparatively, it's been pretty tame here. Still over 100 every day, and still unpleasant if you're in direct sunlight, but it's usually 105 or less now, and it's getting so that if you go out before the sun comes up, you can actually exercise outdoors as it cools off enough overnight. Being the desert, it's now been WEEKS since we've seen rain, and I don't expect to see any for a while now again.

Dodged a bullet as we got next to nothing today and the whole weekend looks to be fine. Monday into Tuesday watch out Capt as Florence will loop around and most likely rain on you but much weaker by then.

Thanks,CC...
It looks like we might get 1-3" Monday into Tuesday. It's not clear yet, just how much we'll get,but we don't need 1 more drop. The ground is so saturated, the run off has caused many problems with roads, hillsides and foundations. Many have simply collapsed. This weekend is supposed to be nice,..the hope is nice weather might dry a lot of this mess up. So far this year,we've had 48" of rain. The most ever..! And with 3 rivers around us,flooding is always a problem....we can't catch a break...!

After a week of high temps and humidity and the remnants of Michael, we get a complete 180 to temps in the 40s at night and 55-60 during the day with a breeze. I love this weather but its been a 30-40 degree turn around in one day.

Good news since the chiller that serves 160 units with cold air for AC blew and will need a rebuild.

We've had VERY unusual weather the last few days. 80's and rain off and on for 3 days straight. Outside of monsoon season, I don't EVER remember getting this much rain since living here.

Yup, that's what they've reported is causing it. And overall it's a good thing. It's been light rain, so it's actually had a chance to soak into the ground some, so it's honestly been VERY good for the area since it is, after all, a desert and can use the rain.
