Isn't that a damn shame...??? You work hard, all your life, and you just don't know, if you're gonna be able to stay in your home..??? My problem is, the older I get, I need more and more help to do things around my place. So,it's getting more and more difficult to keep things up each year. At some point,I realize I'll have to downsize. What a P.I.T.A.....!! : :x :x :x

My father just recently went through the same. Had to move into a seniors living area (55+ area, not a retirement home) because he couldn't keep up with lawn care, some of the maintenance and such. He's happy with where he found, but I'm sure it's gotta be hard on him to realize he can't do a lot of what he used to. And now he's actually looking to downgrade his truck too. Has a Chevy 1500 and wants to get like a Colorado or a S10 (if he can find one with "low" mileage) as he just doesn't want to deal with a full size anymore.

Thats why we went with a condo because less upkeep and the price was excellent.
