The weather has been crazy

Got quite a bit of rain tonight but quiet now.

Extreme heat warnings today. Every day for the last 4 days the expected high for today has went up. Last I heard this morning it was 115*.

Got heat sick yesterday, went home and puked, then found out Ill be doing jury duty next year. Doing so so today but extremely humid and hot.

Geez,take it easy CC..... No sense in killing yourself. You work too hard. Jury duty sucks. I haven't been to jury duty for 20 years. The last time I got in a fight...

Thats the problem with my job as I have to handle emergencies regardless of the weather or conditions.

112 today. There was 3 days this week that ended up being record or near record highs for that day this year. So much for "cooling off" this week.

That's why I hated construction work so much...the work itself was grueling,but I had to work in extreme conditions every day...ugh...! I ran a asphalt plant,and the heat was brutal....but not as bad as working on the paving crew...

Ill be 66 in December so I have no delusions but there are still many things I have to do that require being physical in poor conditions.
