That sounds like a good idea, I love conky and always use them on my machines. I will post here when I have it ready

I have posted a kind of tutorial on conky, it basically takes you through the steps to create one of my regularly used conky's. It's not really what I would call a beginners guide but I will work on that once I get a few other things up and running.
