Well, PCLOS is a no-go. Can't see the hard drive.

I wonder why? Ive got it installed on a wide range of systems old and new and havent had any issues. You could try the KDE version not mini and see if it works. Plenty of members over in their forums run much more up to date systems than mine with no issues, UEFI and SSDs. It uses the 4.12 kernel which should work with recent hardware in most cases.

We might want to start another thread on this so we dont get off topic so much but what system did you try it on?
