I need to take a closer look but a buddy of mine is already running it so Ill just look at his install.

Yeha, once you have it up and running it's pretty easy to keep running. PITA to get everything up and configured at first though. Wroth it if you have an environment that can benefit from the real-time monitoring from a centralized location and have very few (or none preferably) Windows machines to monitor. Or if you don't mind running 2 monitoring machines, Nagios for linux and PRTG for Windows (free for up to 95 sensors).

My buddy is the one who has all our test rigs we use in his house both Linux and Windows so hes been using it for quite awhile I believe.
Not something I noticed honestly as my work over their is something else entirely.
