Discover seems to be having some issues.

Kubuntu 18.04 ,Neon 5.8 and Neptune 5.2 have all had issues with Discover doing updates. Crashes, incomplete installs and broken packages.
Synaptic seems to be fine but the issues with Kubuntu seem to have been a bit more complex and werent entirely the fault of Discover.

The last set of updates seems to have improved the situation in Kubuntu and Neon.

It was ok today updating but there is always a huge delay midstream before it finishes.

Neptune when using Discover after showing it has updates crashes and it asks whether you want to restart the app or send a bug report. Its been happening a lot lately but no issues recovering with neptune as you can use synaptic right away. Kubuntu I had to open a terminal and correct the issue as neither package managers would work.
