I use K3b for most of my needs and its by far my favorite. Glad this software worked so well for you.

I use K3b for burning (or at least I did, I haven't created optical media in over 2 years), but for ripping I've found it...lacking in reliability. I do use Asunder for ripping still, and it still works fine for me as of last time I needed to use it (maybe 4 months ago?). I don't have very in depth needs when ripping so it's capabilities are perfectly fine for me.

Never had any issues with K3b and its far more reliable than the typical choices like XFburn and Brasero.
