I've used this for YEARS now. Nothing particularly impressive about it over other torrent software, however, it integrates REALLY well with Plasma, so I use it.

I dont use torrent software very often but have enjoyed using KTorrent with no issues.

Torrent clients are very nice when your internet speeds and reliability are limited. I usually choose a torrent download when they are offered. KTorrent has been around for a long time. It is available on Trinity as well as newer KDE stuff.

My internet speed is around 120 mbps so I dont really need torrents.

I prefer Torrents even with a 150 Mbps connection because it's simply so much more reliable than individual servers are often times. Many smaller distro's the servers where their ISO's are located will cap downloads at like 5 Mbps, sometimes even at something like 1 Mbps, while downloading the torrent I'll get 50+.

I havent seen a cap on a server in a long time but then again I stick to more popular distros.
