Surprisingly, Neon didn't get the 5.22.3 upgrade until TODAY, but it is available if you choose to do so.

Not that anyone probably cares, but if interested, Void (just updated my VM) is still on 5.22.1 as of Jul/8/21.

If you install Neon on something with Intel graphics, let me know if you have terrible performance graphically. I've been troubleshooting my 7400 (8365u/32GB/1TB NVMe + 512 NVMe so not exactly POOR hardware level) that the graphics performance was just AWFUL. I don't remember it doing this on ANY other laptops, so I think it's a recent thing. But I THINK I've found the fix by installing the 'xserver-xorg-video-intel-native-modesetting' package, that FORCES Intel graphics to use built-in modesetting instead of the older i915 driver.

Im going to install it on my Dell 4310 so Ill report back, I doubt Ill have that issue with its older Intel gpu. Lets hope it goes better than Kubuntu, as I gave up after all the problems I was having with it. I havent had any issues with Feren which uses the same 5.8 kernel.
Ive run Feren on my 7470 and 7270 and havent had any graphical issues.

Yeah, I was thinking it was the kernel, but I tried the 5.4, 5.8, and 5.11 kernel (which is what I'm on now) and it was having the same issue regardless of kernel.

Sorry to say I ended up installing Zorin 16 and what an amazing distro that has done a great job reducing resource usage down to 962mb.
Ive run 5.4, 5.8, 5.10, 5.11 qnd 5.12 kernels and havent had any issues at all. Not sure why youre having issues but ive only tested on my 4310 an 6440.

I have a feeling it's the newer Intel IGP's simply DO NOT work with i915 driver anymore since it hasn't been developed in several years now, but unlike most distro's you can't uninstall the i915 driver (there is no xserver-xorg-video-intel package). Mind you, could be something different, but that's my suspicion.
