Re: Wine 6.0 released
I must admit I have concerns over the future of WINE as so many older Windows progs that work in WINE still rely on 32bit libraries.
With i386 support heading for the sunset there'll be no incentive to maintain the WINE32 i386 dependencies.

Re: Wine 6.0 released
Well I've just installed Wine 6.0 in a TDE VM and so far so good. Picasa would crash on exit more often than not with Wine 5. So far so good with 6
and yes I do still use Picasa for some things which it does well.....

Re: Wine 6.0 released
Wine 6.0 works very well but I didnt have a lot of issues with 5.0 either. Im also interested to see where things go with Wine.

Re: Wine 6.0 released
Crossover is very good. Back in the day I used it to provide the most reliable method of running MS Office when I HAD to, plus some Windows only time tracker software that the company ran. I even had the MAC users running the MAC version of Crossover to do the same job.
I recently let my license lapse as I only use WINE for a small handful of older Windows things that I just prefer to their Linux counterparts.
