SoftMaker Office 2021 free beta

They're offering some specials if you upgrade and bundling free software with 2021 if you're willing to upgrade, but all the bundled software is Windows only...so at this point I'm leaning towards not upgrading.

It'll be kinda odd if I don't, I've been using SoftMaker Office Pro (linux version) since the 2008 version. 2 licenses of 08, 12, & 16. 18 they increased the number of machines on an individual license from 3 to 5 so I dropped down to a single license.

So they've got 2021 out on their page for purchase now. $90 for a full license, $60 to upgrade from 2018, or $3/month for a subscription (SoftMaker Office NX, much like O365). License is good for 5 computers consumer, or a single computer business. So same licensing as 2018 was. While the pricing is FANTASTIC compared to MS prices...I'm going to have to pass.

So if you still have the beta installed, and you have the repos installed, it will upgrade to the full release Office 2021 now. Checked and it seems the beta license will continue to operate until June 30, but it will be the full release version now.
