I don't really see that huge a difference in most of the apps. Now that I'm running Neon at work as well as at home (on a XPS 9370 using a Dell WD19TB dock), I'm seeing Neon much more. Also much happier after getting to ditch Gnome. I just couldn't tolerate dealing with that anymore. I will literally use Wndows Vista, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 over Gnome it's just such an ugly, slow, bloated, and irritating DE.

well, they have been continuing their code cleanup. While most of it was from 5.12 - 5.14, they're still cleaning it up as they're going, especially getting rid of "stale" code, so quite possible it is continuing to get faster. I don't see it on my laptop (which admitedly is powerful enough to explain that given 4 core/8 thread w/ 16 GB ram), and my work laptop I JUST switched to it so no reference.
