Granted, there's nothing I can say to deny that. I am a bit of a hardware whore.

If I had the cash or could sell my stuff for a decent price, Id switch out hardware more myself.

Being not just CLOSE to a big city, but inside, it does make it easier to sell things. And buy things used without paying shipping.

Ive got a Computer swap shop right here where I live and it comes in handy at times but what you get in trades isnt always to my liking.

Yeah, I know. I've got a Craigslist ad running for a trade of my 3379 for something else of comparable quality (basically, anything that's not Dell), and haven't been offered a single thing worth even replying to them (although I do reply).

The swap shop assigns a money value to the item and I can use that to put towards something else. They need to make a profit so they arent always as generous with that value.

Yeah, of course, when buying from places like that, you know they paid WELL less than they have it priced, so there's always room to haggle. I love when I find a laptop I like at a pawn or swap shop, as often you can get them down a decent portion.

Think I'm going to have a heart attack!!

I did an update on Arch tonight, and I DIDN'T get a new kernel!!!

It's a MIRACLE, they went more than 24 hours without building a new kernel!!!!
