Which distros work with the Dell E6420 and E port dock

Im on a roll as KDE Neon 5.15.2 is also working with the Dell E6420 with no issues. Huge number of updates before I put it in the dock and it was working fine, supporting all features.

Im on a huge roll as Linux Lite 4.2 and MX18 both XFCE work fine and Linux Mint Mate 19.1 also works with all features supported. Whatever was in the last set of updates for many of these distros seems to have solved the issue entirely.

Zorin 15 works not only with the dock but with the backlit keyboard, very pleased

PCLinuxOS continues not to work along with Netrunner 19.01 but ROSA R11 works fine.

Really surprised Netrunner 19.01 didnt work the older version worked fine. Neptune continues to work fine as well.

I look forward to the testing version of Neptune going stable. Given Debian Buster is plasma 5.14, and there is no newer LTS, I'm interested to see if Neptune is going to track the latest (or near latest) plasma until another LTS release.

Neptune is on my list, espiecally since many other distros arent working with my docks. KDE Neon I need to retest as well.

After some updates done away from the dock Netrunner 19.01 now works with the dock and backlit keyboard. PCLinuxOS even after updates still wont work with the dock. KDE Neon was a bit stubborn and I had to open the laptop to get it to work but dont now if that will be the case when its installed.

Its interesting how many distros you have to open your laptop and indicate use for external monitor to get things to work(mostly XFCE). Some distros just dont work and in the case of Ubuntu Mate, you make the change to external monitor and it wont allow you to do it.

Will be reinstalling KDE Neon today to se if it will work, will report back.
